"Hangin' John" Ashcroft

There are two disturbing issues here. One is that John Ashcroft insists on the over-use of the death penalty even though it is statistically unfair to minorities. The other disturbing issue is that John Ashcroft feels his ability to make these decisions is better than local prosecutors who better understand the case.
