Looking for Mr. RSS
Patrick Hayden's looking for a Windows RSS aggregator along the lines of NetNewsWire. What he wants, I think, is NewzCrawler. It doesn't have a "lite" version, though, so after the trial he'll be down $24.95. If you have to play with Windows, NewzCrawler butchers the competition.

Thanks for the rec, and NewzCrawler looks nice, but what I'm looking for isn't really an "aggregator" but rather, as one of my commenters put it, a notification service.
Which is to say, I want to see which weblogs have new content, then tidily load the actual blogs into individual browser tabs. NNW/Safari/OS X evidently makes this easy. So far, no Windows products do. You can get the same result, but there's a lot more awkward clicking around.
