More Housekeeping

Finally and at long last the search page is all cleaned up and in line with the rest of the site.

Another thing I'm goofing around with is a division between "long form" content and the shorter, "here's a link" stuff that makes a blog a blog. The work in progress for that is on the digest index page. The old index, if you can't abide the new one, will be kept around at flat_index.htm for a while.
